Wattman vs Afterburner

After I got annoyed that that MSI Afterburner wasn't able to adjust much with Radeon software version 19.6.2, I tried using Global Wattman under Radeon Settings, and was pleased that I could do most of the same things! It seems that Wattman doesn't offer quite as much granularity of control as Afterburner does but it also makes some things easier like adjusting the frequencies of multiple power states at once. Which do you prefer and use most regularly?

I use only wattman since it came out. I just set it and forget it. I have my card undervolted using it at stock OC speeds which results in a significant reduction in power and noise.

I typically prefer to use manifacturer software, but sometime in the past year AMD significantly dumbed down fan control options making it essentially useless. I tried afterburner fan control and they work as any good fan control software should.

My 5700 doesn't get along with afterburner it looks like. Stutters somewhat if I play with clocks.

Tried waltman last night playing around with clock/voltage/fan curve which looked to work better. Didnt have any stutter. Used gpuz to monitor temps and boost clocks.
