This is the first time I have actually started a thread in these forums, but I posted a wanted thing in hot deals and nobody ever mentioned it, so I figured I'd try here. I just got Qwest DSL for 30 days for free ($18.00 for the ISP) but the fee will be $30/month just for the line after the 30 days are up. I was just wondering if any one else had found a cheaper solution out there that is still around. I know FreeDSL (Winfire) folded.

Typically you are limited to the company that provides your phone service, so if you have a Qwest line Qwest will be your only option unless you want to go through a reseller such as Covad.

30 dollars a month? That is a great deal IMo because I have this crappy service called Verizon and uh I'm not getting my money's worth. I used to pay 40 but now its 50 dollars a month for 640 up/90 down. ugh. It's basically the only service in my area but cable just moved in so im considering that as well. Generally most DSL services I've seen were 40 to 50. 30 sounds like a great deal to me... what's the speeds?
