Man oh man 2016 sucks.

RIP Mr. Adams. I read many of his books but Watership Down was my favorite. Named my black Lab Shardik after one of his books. Girl in a Swing, Maia, The Plague dogs, all great works imo.

Watership Downs was a classic that I read way back in school... Just could not get enough of it...

Watership Down might be the most unique book I've ever read.

RIP

Same here. I always loved that he made the story up as a way to scare his kids in the car. Watership got me into the Redwall series by Brian Jacques, way back in the day, which I now call upon at bedtime for reading stories to my kids. I have a pair of squirrel archers in the making.

RIP Richard Adams, and thank you.
