waterparks, do you bring your sandals?

Hmm only been once before and I got blisters without them, but I know if I bring them someone will snag them when I go on a ride. Tips?

I don't go to waterparks. There's a big concrete slab downtown Portland that has water jets shooting up in sequences during hot weather. The water is just cycled through and not thoroughly filtered. So many people go play in it that I would touch the disease-infested playground with a 10 foot pole.

I usually bring a pair of sandals, but they only cost me 10 bucks, so I wouldn't be overly upset if somebody ganked 'em.
