Nice! I never would have thought of a waterfall without a pond below it. Not sure if it's a likely potential issue, but any water treatment to avoid algae? Seems like the rocks would start turning green before too long. Ditto getting the accumulated dirt, etc., out from dust settling, blowing dirt, etc. I guess, in other words, there a filter hiding in there somewhere?

Did you do it yourself? Or a contractor?

Retired? Seems like the "lawn maintenance" would be a touch more involved than a standard yard. lol

I'm guessing you still have a decent amount of patio/yard space closer to the house for hanging around and cooking?

OP is that water stored underground then recycled through the fountain when the pump turns on?

If so, the water can get real stinky real fast when you first turn it on. But there's chemicals for that.

Very, very well done.

The putting green looks so nice I wouldn't be suprised if it is a really nice artificial turf.

that is a very nice backyard. but holy hell those houses are stacked right on top of each other.
