Watercooling Test /Pump Question

Hey everyone. I've finally gotten my water cooling system all put together. I just wanted to check up on one thing before I just let this thing run for the test.

As far as I can tell, most of the air bubbles have escaped the system. All that remain are the really tiny bubbles. But my pump is making a kind of "spilling" sound. It is a Swiftech MCP655. Is that normal, and will eventually go away after running for a while? Or is there something I'm supposed to do to make the noise go away?

it sounds like there is still air in the pump perhaps. Those pumps are supposed to be quite quiet when there isn't air in them. Trying rotating the pump around to get the air out?

you have air in the system somewhere . try running only the pump for 24 hrs with cap off the filler then refill as needed . i been useing watercooling for the past 8 yrs . all the systems i have built require me to run by itself for the first 24 hrs if i am only useing a T line filler

I use the same pump and it runs silent...well unless you put your ear right up to it.

For my setup i mounted my rad ontop of my case. So to get the air out I had to invert my case while running the pump. Basically, holding the resavoir in one hand while flipping the case on end, waiting for the air to move out, then fipping it again.

Make sure you have your res/t-line above the other components in your loop at all times while purging out air.

To get rid of all those little bubbles run your pump and tap the lins/res/waterblocks with something (I used a lighter).

Do run your pump for 24 hours (preferably with no gear in your case) to leak test. I thought my line was perfect, but the next morning I found a pool of coolant sitting ontop of my case under the rad (one of my barbs was on too tight (too tight!) and pushed out the washer)

Sorry for the OT: Now back to the topic. I just havent seen or heard from her a LONGGGGGGGGGGGG TIME.

I +1 jen's recomendation. She's one of the few that has been in this hobby wayy longer then me.

But you most definitely have a bubble stuck in your pump. Did you install the pump sideways?? never have the intake point down. This is very big and costly mistake.
