Hello All,

I use watercooling in my system and I am just wondering if I am setting it up right. I know there are guys out there who have done it differently from mine. Anyway here is how I did it. PUMP-->CPUWB-->VGAWB-->RADIATOR-->PUMP. In other words, water goes from the pump to cpu waterblock to vga waterblock to radiator then back to the pump. Someone told me that it should be PUMP-->RADIATOR-->CPUWB-->VGAWB-->PUMP. Also about the FAN/Radiator installation, I put my radiator fan between my case and the radiator, where the fan is sucking the air from the radiator going out of the case. I have seen some articles in the internet where-in the fan is blowing air towards the radiator, which means that the radiator is between the case and the fan. Is there any difference in terms of temps if the fan is blowing towards the radiator or the fan sucking air from the radiator? The direction of the air is going out of the case. Others, they put the fan/radiator at the front side of the case so that it sucks the outside air towards the radiator, so the air is going inside the case which is I think doing like a double purpose fan. Any professional suggestions guys? This is my first time to use watercooling. I use the Coolermaster HHC-L61 Heat Pipe before this.

The radiator situation is fine... you want the air blowing out of the case, not in. For best results, get a shroud such as the one from D-Tek... it will help your cooling efficiency.

As for the order of your parts, what that "someone" told you is the approved order of the whole watercooling community, in my experience. That is, you want it Pump --> Rad --> Block(s).

Honestly I can't see why it would make a difference. But the knowledgable people say that's the best way to do it, so that's how I set mine up.

What's that and where is D-Tek?

Well thanks for the reply.
