I got a great looking/performing conroe PC now.

7900GT, E6400 would be the two things that need to get cooled, so I was curious..what would you all do, get a nice GPU/CPU water cooling setup or get some coolers and throw some fans on?

I reallly love quiet. I want it quiet yet cooling so it doesnt reach 45-50 degrees C when under load for the CPU or GPU.

What would you guys recommend for a GPU/CPU fan cooling setup or a CPU/GPU watercooling setup?

either way I will probably try some overclocking as well.

Personally. Go water. Something like a Storm + D5 + Dangerden NV cooler + 120.2 rad. (or .3 rad if you have the space)

I would love a water setup...I see Dangerdan has some great stuff. What I dont get is the T line...some people have it, some people use something else in place of a T line?

What do you think would fit in my Antec Super Lan boy ( Link )

I only have one Sata drive so the are beneath the first drives will be open (it has removable trays).

Water cooling is great, but sounds like overkill.

If you want to do some hardcore OC'ing go water.
If you want silence, and a mild OC, air will be your best bet.

 That's crazy expensive. Personally, I'd get:
2 whitewater cpu blocks ($40)
Iwaki pump off ebay ($40)
Single Heatercore radiator ($20)
Tubing, distilled water, anti fungal additive, t line ($20)
Pair of yate loons ($10)

You can just use zip ties to attach one of the whitewater blocks to the gpu, and you have a nice, cheap watercooling setup.

Water is excellent, but a pain in the arse to do (ime). I don't need the performance it offers so i'm happier with air.

I'm not up to speed on 775 heatsinks but the old favourites: TT BT, SI 120, Zalman 9500 etc. etc. are hard to beat.

For the GPU, if you want to save a few $ then a AC NV5 Rev3 is great value and a good cooler, you do need to cut off a bit of the plastic though. If not then either a vf700 or vf900 will do nicely. Same goes for the AC sliencer range.

Thermalright Ultra-120 is very nice too. Some people find it better than the Infinity. Plus the Infinity uses the plastic push-pin mounting system which isn't that great IMO. It seems a little flimsy, but maybe it's just me.
