I have decided to take the jump to watercooling because I can't stand the sound of this darn delta fan anymore. I have decided on all my parts except for the radiator. I am pretty sure that I want to purchase it from www.dangerden.com but I am not sure which one is best for the job. I am not going to be using any peltiers or anything of that sort. All that I am really using it for is cooling my 1ghz tbird that is clocked to 1.3ghz. Any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated!

If you're buying from dangerden, find one that's in your price range and will fit where you want to put it.

Personally, I went to a car radiator shop and picked up a new heater core for $20 CDN - which should do quite a nice job. :)

I bought the AquaStealth II with the AquaCoil upgrade radiator. It fit in my case relatively easily and has tons of fin surface and 20 passes of copper. Seems to do pretty well. I have a AVHA 0102 and it kinda sucks. The highest I was able to get was 1233 (stable) Now I am measured by socket thermistor 10C lower than I was, but I am now at 1370. It appears to be well constructed. Has a decently quiet Panaflo 120mm on it. Oh and by the way delta fan drove me to watercool also.

WarCon,
Just out curiousity what kind of temperatures are you getting with your setup. I have a setup pretty close to yours and I was also considering maybe getting the AquaCoil Radiator. Thanks for the help!

I was measuring with my socket thermistor (which I bent up to touch) before the watercooler, with the PAL a temp of 48-50C at RC5 driven full load. My system temp was ~28-30C.

With my watercooler rig, at 140mhz higher my thermistor reading is 35-40C, and my system is running at ~25-28C. And at the same speed (1233) my watercooler never gets above 31C and system never gets above 26C. All of the temps are at full load.

At idle my processor usually is only 1-2C above system, but this is all measure by inaccurate socket thermistors so should only be used as an example.

This radiator though would handle a peltier easy..... The only thing I would change with a peltier would be direction of air flow for it. So I don't pump the extra heat into case.
