hello there.

I see your keeping a copper only loop.

Are you running lights internally on the case? meaning do you have Cathods? or LEDs? Is your comp in direct sunlight for prolong periods of time?

If the answer is no to all of the above, straight distilled will be fine. Just flush your system out every 3 months or so. The copper will keep the algae in check. Copper is a natural algae cide. If your running lights inside your case, use straight distilled and some PT nuke at petrastechshop.

About 4-5 drops should be enough. Dont nuke your water with it.

no sunlight is present in the room its in, only a blue Cold cathode in the case, but the system is only on when i use it.

i leave the pump running 24/7, i actually changed some stuff last weekend

here is the loop

5 gallon drum of 4Gal of 25/75 prestone/di water, then dual radiator, the cpu block, northbridge block (blue CC light is present at these two blocks, both are all copper), then back to the large res.

i noticed the system runs about 4 deg hotter at idle, but in our new apartment we run the air 7-8 deg hotter becuase its much larger than our old apartment
