Watercooled Seti Box

Just thought i post a few pics of my 1900xp that i just put watercooling on. With seti running it was at about 47 C. with the HS/F, depending on the room temp. Now it's 35 C. on water with almost no noise 🙂 This is my first attempt at w/c and it's pretty easy to do.

cool

Neat🙂

I understand the cooling block, the pump, the radiator-fan combo, but what is the grey box for and is that antifreeze in the lines?

Don't spring a leak!!

I've thought of watercooling my next PC (dual Athlon XP 1800+) but came across a new heatsink (using a heat pipe)...forgot the mfr but found out about in the fora here someplace.

That's neat. How much did it cost?

Cooler Master have a heat pipe designed heatsink.

I only use the $7.00 Cooler Master 6131C on my setup and their noisy and hot.

Be sure to insulate all the lines if you decide to use a peltier for more cooling. I cheated and lost a great Slot A setup.

The Grey Box is the water reservoir, you don't have to use one but it make's bleeding the lines a no brainer. Ia'm using 27 oz. Distilled water, 4 oz. antifreeze, 1 oz. water wetter. The whole setup was about 135.00 but hay, it's fun. 🙂

Yeah nice! 🙂

I made all of mine, except for the pump. mine cost me around 60 bucks.

running a 1600+ @1800 unlocked 12x150fsb stays at 30-31C. 😀

I would post pictures but I don't have a website and I can't post them here!!

THat grey box is a 6x6x6 underground feeder box form Home Depot 🙂 I am gonna pick one up for my watercooling setup 🙂
