Ummm yaaaaaaaa:
EVGA is using a handmade water-cooling block and that significantly raised the price of the product.

Has anyone ever seen a black pearl on the open seas? I hear she is an illusive ship eerr chip errrr gpu ........... you guys know what I mean.

Actually, Innovatek has one in the works. If it can be cooled by a fan/heatsink, it can surly be cooled by water. Its the same one eVGA is using. eVGA and BFG have used Innovatek in the past.

And then another is being made here; http://www.bteckcorner.com/

Both not out just yet. Blocks take several months after the cards come out generally. Unless a previous block works, because the cards have the same PCB, and locations. I suspect Aqua Computer will be putting on out fairly soon as well. Although, getting on one this side of the Atlantic would be very, very hard.

They stole the name from ASUS.

Interesting. I'd like to see some sort of aftermarket cooling designed for retail for these cards. Although, the one shown in that pictures hurts the flow becuase of the 90 degree bends in the intake and outake. Still better than air I guess.

I think it's safe to say that by the time aftermarket coolers exist for this card, the G80 will probably be out.

EDIT: Nevermind, saw Ackmed's post.

Hello everyone yes Bteck Corner is developing a waterblock for the SLI 7950 GX2 Graphics Cards. Bteck Corner is in Canada just so you know. Innovatek yes had a 90 degree water chamber that connects both waterblocks together but a 90 degree dose not in any way restrict water flow to the degree everyone seems to think in high pressure applications yes but computer water cooling has very little pressure as it is, so there is a lot more leeway for the developer to come up with some amazing products for computer cooling. We test water cooling solutions for all kinds of applications as well as computer water cooling. I do agree as well that custom water cooling products can get expensive but think of what you are buying and the work that goes into these products and the performances they can yield. If water cooling your rig is what you want to do then price should not be an option was it an option when you bought the 7950 I think not. I like to use the med for if you can afford a sports car then you should have thought you could afford the upkeep and upgrades.

But just to update the 7950 water block is nearing the work bench stage so I suspect a SLI 7950 water block to be on the market in the next couple of weeks.

Regards
Bteck

If you have the hardware and money to consider watercooling an SLI 7950GX2 rig. Then 2 7900GTXs would be better. Does your motherboard support SLI?
