My Frigidaire refrigerator started leaking some water in the rear and it's the water inlet valve. I have the new part which is similar to the pic below but has 4 water couplings for 4 water tubes. My question has to do with the small plastic free-spinning riser (what the arrows are pointing at) just below the white coupler as seen in the pic. Is this supposed to be removed before inserting the water tube? I've never seen these before and the instructions don't mention it at all nor do the few videos I've watched. When my icemaker requested water for ice-making, the green line started leaking, but my water dispenser line does not leak even though I've left the risers (if that's what it is) on for all 4 tubes. The tubes go in, but are the risers supposed to be on too? It's hard to feel any of them bottoming out.
Secondary question, does anyone know what the 4 tubes are for? I can only see brown is the water-in, a green is for the ice maker, and there's yellow and clear for which I have no idea (one is the water dispenser).
