Say I open the valve outside my house. The water is running into my hose, but doesn't come out because of the trigger-type sprayer (real term escapes me at the moment). Is it a waste of water to keep the valve open ? Will it hurt my wallet ?
Reason I ask is that my in-ground sprinklers (came with the house - they rule, BTW) requires the valve to be open. If I put the sprinklers on schedule, I won't be turning the valve off and on. It has to be left on. Am I going to be charged for using only what comes out and not because I leave the valve "open" 24/7 ?
