In all seriousness, I wouldn't buy one if I were you. It sounds like you are a novice to watercooling, and if you buy a cheap ass one like myocardia suggests what happens when you ruin your components because it broke or you botced the install? It doesn't appear that you would have the budget to relpace component(s).

Yeah it may not be a great idea to bother with it if that's all you have, and presumably don't know much about it. Of course watercooling is really the icing on the cake of an overclock, and isn't going to allow you to take a 200 mhz cpu up to 250 if it could hit only 220 before. Stick the thing in a custom freezer, then we'll talk :D

in all honesty, i odn't think you can build a watercooling for a hundred dollars...

okay.. maybe yo ucan with a cheapo waterblock and rad...

pumps aren't too expensive and neither is tubing...

but the two most important parts are the wb and radiator and you want to be sure you have a quality wb or it defeats the purpose of watercooling...

if you're on a budget, you might as well go for high end air cooling...

I agree, like a heatsink that uses a heatpipe, and maybe some custom ducting to get cool air to the CPU and hot air out.

Yup, duct a 120mm fan on the left panel over the cpu, you'll probably get better results with that then a cheapo water cooling setup.

Via Aqua 1300 - $20
D-Tek TC-4 - $25.
Chevette heatercore - $20.
Home Depot vinyl tubing - $10.
Home Depot "T" fitting - $1.
Hose clamps - $5.
120mm fan - $10.

Add tax and shipping where applicable and you are at about $100. for a system that will out perform any air cooling. But you are getting a pump that some people swear by and others say breaks down fast. If you could drop a little more cash and get a danner mag 3 or a used eheim 1250 you'd be in better shape IMO.

Here's where to get watercooling info.
