Again, the system is:

P4C 3.0 @ 3.75Ghz
6800GT @ Stock for the time being
Crucial Value 2 x 1GB @ DDR500 1:1

------------------------------------------------------

All this is being cooled by:

Black Ice Pro III - Triple 120mm fans in pull
3/8" ID, 1/2" OD Tygon
Water block on CPU and GPU
80mm Zalman Quiet Fan on RAM
120mm ADDA on GPU ramsinks

------------------------------------------------------

Some temps:

Idle CPU: 30C (warm room atm)
Prime95 (Max heat torture): 37C
Dual Prime95 (Max heat torture): 38C

Idle GPU: 47C (was 59C+)
Load GPU: 54C (was 75C+)

------------------------------------------------------

More to come.

So you're just testing the tubes?

And the names of the waterblocks you used will help much. Otherwise, nice temps!

The blocks are definately not the best :)

They are Asetek Waterchill blocks. The CPU is the Asetek Antartica, and I'm not sure of the GPU name. What I am sure of is that this setup was extremely cheap! I bought it from a friend for $140. This is a $400+ setup.

In the future, when I upgrade my proc/mobo/gfx (maybe after this semester @ winter break  ), I'll buy better blocks. I'll be going AMD so I can keep my 2GB of great DDR.

Yeah looks like you got lucky with the Crucial Value...DDR500 is quite the overclock. What are your timings?

Well waterblocks aren't that expensive...the higher end enthusiast CPU blocks usually go for 30 - 50 bucks, and VGA blocks (GPU only...ramsinks necessary) only go for about 40. Together, my TDX and Maze4 were about 80 dollars - the price of a single water pump.

If/when I upgrade, I will go for a TDX or a Storm ... not sure about the gfx card block, as they are usually specific to each card. I have OCZ copper ramsinks installed on my 6800GT, so that's fine and dandy.

And I hope that water cooling isn't a gateway drug to the land of thermoelectric or phase-change cooling.

...need...800 dollars...for...cascade....*drool*

Anyway if/when you upgrade I say go with Storm G5 and Maze4 Acetal.

Bah, apparently it is. I would be way too freaked out and would paint my entire board in insulating sealant (the red paint often used) and then slather dielectric grease on top of that.

But man, the Lian Li cases + Lian Li VapoChill boxes do look nice. That is way too expensive for my blood.
