Water Cooling radiator question

do you water cooling people have fans on your radiator?

i have mine without a fan and i start suspecting that its useless without a fan
temp is at ~30 for a while and then water gets hotter progresively and temps go to approx 35 celsius, not more

im curious if a fan on the radiator would make much of a difference

im cooling a Duron @856 by the wayText

I don't have a radiator. I have a bong. I can't tell you much for temps though, because I don't have a waterblock yet.

A fan would probably help a bit. Your room temp is probably a few degrees below the water temp, so it would cool the water a bit.

if your temps level at 35C without a fan, I would consider that pretty good. I wouldn't call a radiator useless without a fan. Stick a regular old heatsink on that chip without a fan and see if you keep your temps at 35C

depending on your room temps that very much determines if you need a fan. i use fans dureing summer time really dont need them much dureing winter cause its so cold in this house

yeah, house temp matters a lot too

what do you guys think about the lentgh of pipe use to connect the water to the blcok and pump, and all that...
the longer the better right.....loose some more heat on the area of the pipes, even though they are plastic.

my water cooling is out of the case, in a drawer, like half a meter away from the computer.
