Water Cooling question.

Okay i have a danger den setup, maze 3 block, eheim 1048 pump, and a black ice rad. I just got this thing and I am in the process of setting it up.

I have a Athlon XP Barton 2800.

Before with the other HSF I had normal 47C or so cpu temp. Right now I have 41C with my water cooling. The thing is I have no 120MM fan mounted on my rad. Its on the way. I have a normal case fan on the case that is blowing air on the rad, but not really dont to much of anything. Its 80mm. When I get my 120mm fan, and i got a shroud as well. How much do you think my temps will drop.

I also have UV dye and black light on the way as well. I will post pics when im finished.

Thanks

any water cooling is overkill for a 2800+ barton. my barton is at 2.2ghz 1.8v(sh*t mb has few options) 41c 1500rpm 92mm fan on a slk800😛

Did you make good contact with your cpu? Where is your rad located? You should always use a large high pressure fan at medium>low speeds for watercooling. Good shrouds improve temps by 2-3 degrees.
