Alright guys i have an a7v with a duron 650 running at 936... I can't go any higher unless i mod the board... it posts all the way up to 1100 mhzs and runs in my uncles modded a7v up to a 1000mhz only problem is it gets seriously hot... I'm talking about 55-60c max load with a pep66 with delta black lable fan and it will lock up after an hour with a fop38. I was wondering if i should go water cooling , i have been reading up on water cooling but some people say that its not worth it and some people swear by it ... I have more respect for the guys and gals on this board than anywhere else on the net since you have helped me when others can't... so i'm asking you what would be the better setup... whatever i do i'd like to keep it as long as possible.. i will most likely being going amd for along time , upgrading my motherboard when the dual ddr boards come out ... also noise is a concern of mine... the fop38 that i have is way to loud... I have experiance with tecs and know how to use them well so what do you guys think ?

I had a whole Swiftech water cooling system and I have to say I really didn't like it all that much. For one it took up almost my whole case and secondly I got sick of bleeding the water line about every month or so. Now I have a Swiftech MC371-3 and I'm not getting much higher temps than with water cooling (maybe 5C at max load). I would suggest you get a cheap PEP66 pelt kit from Peltec for cheap then strap on the "Jurassic T" fandapter (parts section) and you got yourself a "cool-quite" setup all in one.
