Keep in mind we are talking about modern systems. This jay hall is pretty good . for a forum member his engineering skills iI don't know about. But he has a decent understanding of fluid dynamics.

This is the problem I have with forums like XS . Many of their so called elite members have outside interest involved in how they post. $$$$ is the villian here thats right. Many of the so called elite members are selling their products and will lie cheat and steall to protect their interest. Ihave seen many members banned if they bump heads with these members . Even tho the banned member was giving out accurate info and was more knowlegdeable than the elite members.

In this entire linked thread I found Post 74 summed it up the best. Those members mentioned here have these $$$$ insentives. One that isn't mentioned is ranker a no mind 12 year old who sucks up to the elite members and helps spread their fud.

You guys thought AEG was bad . Well this is the same type of thing. XS should be XSBS.

ummmm TESTS ON XS ARE VERY ACCURATE. XS has its prides on accuracy and the real truth. Half the things on XS forums wont apply to regular people, but people who do take it as a hobby will find XS a very excellent forum. XS also comes out with the latest board reviews far ahead then what most forums will get. Also the instant a chip goes off NDA, someone on XS has one eagerly waiting to type about it.

So why you DOGGIN XS?

Also Ranker is very knowledgable in watercooling. I dont know what you and him have bashed heads about, but he is also a friend of mine ON XS. If you have a problem with ranker i suggest you keep it on XS and please dont bring it onto this forum.
 
Funny, I find that to be one of the best forums going. Granted, it is a bit higher level than many may be experienced with and the level of education and grammer is a bit better than many forums. I am rarely disappointed when I rely on information that I read in XS. Perfect, no, of course not. good? an emphatic yes.
You seem to be slamming without any real basis to your slam. Perhaps, jealousy, hmmmmm.

Do you know who Cathar is? He isnt just a forum poster, i'll hint you that.

He's the creator of 2 items in watercooling which still hold the rank as king for what it was designed for.

1. Storm Series Waterblocks.
2. ThermoChill's PA series radiator.

That is why he is considered an Elitist. And as far as i know, if you want to bash heads with cathar, Good Luck! You better have really accurate messuring devices and real good numbers worked out. Because thats how far he goes sometimes to test stuff out.

Gabe is the owner of swiftech. And most people have 1 stuff in there watercooling loop if not multipul.

So... just to let readers know who your calling elitist, maybe you should rethink your knowledgable person bashing it out with.

Ya I should have been less general on topics. I was referring to the water cooling section . Sorry. As far as ranker goes he is a idiot. Look at this post no. 13 in this thread . Its a complete lie and I suspect ranker started the rumor. Alphcool is alive and doing well.

Sorry I was referring to the water cooling section only. It is a good forum but you need to know who a lot of these people are in real life to understand what I am saying. THEY ARE SPAMING their products get it.

Lets come to an understanding shall we. THERE is nothing New about the storm cooling design. It was around long befor PC's were it was a copied tech that already existed . Cathar only applied what already existed to a PC cooling block.

Same applies tp the rad. that type of rad gas been around for over 100 years . It was merely minimized to fit into a pc formate.

Read the tubing size thread . Were a few years ago it meant everthing to have 1/2 tube . Another Myth that Cathar helped spread. Along with many others. Now you guys all know it is a myth now. But some knew along time ago and didn't play follow the leader BS. Same with pumps in series complete BS.
I have spent more than 1/2 half my life fixing the mistakes of so called engineers who only got a degree because the paid the college big bucks to attend their to recieve that tainted peace of paper.

Just look at computer programmers that have good paying jobs that haven't got a clue. Same applies to doctors/ lawyers all the professionals more than 1/3 are not qualified to do their jobs yet look were they are.
In the real world today . $$$$ rules over right and wrong period.

I am pretty sure if you placed at poll XS..almost everyone knows who have products and what they sell

I love the fact many of these guys come to the forum and offer help, advice and often excellent CS

I have yet to find them pushing lies to the XS members....

You really have an ax to grind for some reason

As with all forums there are members who "spread" (often by ignorance sometimes with intent) misinformation

I have found for the most part it to be the best forum for WCing around...often very nice people offering help...there have been some threads where things what astray

you really should post these comments at XS..not here
