Water Cooling CPU with this thermaltake cooling system!!!

I've never water cooled my system before but I'm thinking about popping my cherry with this setup Link which sounds and looks good by the couple of reviews I've read on it.

I wanna lower the noise on my system as it has 7x 80mm fans running and if I go water cooled I can get rid of 3.

It worries me having water running in my system, if I set it up right and check for leaks before fitting then everything should be safe right?

Anyone running one of these? did it lower your cpu temps by much?

I've been considering getting that water cooling system myself, so I am just as curious. If any one is using it let us know.

from what i've read, the best way to go is with a custom kit and that most store-bought kits aren't as good as decent air cooling(such as a thermalright SP-97 heatsink and a vantec tornado fan).

here's a thread from another forum about the thermaltake WC kit: linkage

here's a good resource for learning more about watercooling: linkage

and places to buy watercooling products: linkage

You got it, that kit sucks. The best way is to get a DIY kit or buy a premade kit. GL!

I have been Water Cooling for about 5 years now. It's great, but is not for the new person who leaves thier machine on all the time. If the pump goes, you have problems.
Is the setup quieter you might ask? Not really, as you will prob start out with a radiator, and of course fans cool the radiator, and that is noisey.
Later tho, as I have thru the years, I got rid of the Rad, and chill my water by other means. Now that is quieter tho :D

I'm going to go ahead and get the bigwater kit. I know you guys don't like it but I think it'll do what I want it to do, cool the cpu slightly better and be a hell of a lot quieter.

I've been reading a few reviews on it and they all pretty much say it's a good setup.

My question is, in this review Link he recommendend changing the water flow direction to: pump > radiator > water block > pump; deducted 2~4°C at IDLE, and 2~6°C at LOAD. Is this the water flow direction you water cooling pros do on your setups?

Another suggestion he made was to reverse the fan and draw the outside air in, which also reduced cpu temps.
