water cooling 2x insted of 1x

i was thinking is there a water cooling systm that uses two raidiators and is sold as a set pump block ect.? can a person have two one a system?
 
I haven't seen any systems that use 2 seperate radiators but I have seen radiators in all shapes and sizes, I've seen them setup to use 3 120's to 1 80. I'm not sure from a cooling standpoint how it would work but it seems having 2 seperate radiators would have alot of space overhead and since space is a limited thing within a case I don't think a system with 2 radiators would be worth putting out, however I don't see any problem adding another radiator in series as long as the water flow is going you're stilling cooling.
 
In series the second radiator would hardly do anything. In that case, just get one that is right. In parallel though, you could get it to work. I still dont see a reason though.

Not true. I'm planning on building a dual CPU box for my next system. When I do, you'd better believe I would prefer 2 radiators. Of course, fitting them in a case is quite a different matter.

Think about cars with twin turbos and intercoolers. Using 2 radiators WILL increase cooling capacity, although it will not help unless you have a large heat source. People with multi-procs and pelts should consider, but remember that 2 radiators will also increase resistance and put more strain on pumps.
 
It also depends upon the size of the radiator. 1 large radiator or 2 small ones with space considerations.
 
RagManX - Note, I said in a "properly designed system." 😉 Even with two CPUs, a second radiator is not necessary Take a look at the data table below from BillA . With decent flow, there is less than 0.5 C rise in water temperature after the waterblock. If you want to spend the money on a dual radiator cooling system, that's fine. I'd rather put the funds towards something that will enhance the system like more RAM or SCSI.

For us ppl who can't make a "properly designed system" 😉

you can do this:

Pump -> Radiator 1 -> Cpu 1 -> Radiator 2 -> Cpu 2 -> Res

Repeat...obviously....


But ya...there is no real use for 2 radiators. Just get 1 Heatercore and all should be well.
