Water cooled Sony computer?

Nocturnal

Lifer
Someone told me today that water cooling is becoming mainstream and that Sony produced a water cooled computer. Is this true?

Don't know about mainstream, but there is a water cooled sony computer...for silence, not performance though. Just a P4 630 I believe with a Geforce 6600.

It'll be a while still before WC makes it to the mainstream. Technology will have to advance to the point where its zero maintenance for the service life of the machine. As much as I enjoy the tinkering inherent in a water-cooled PC I know millions of other people won't.

water cooling is becoming more mainstream but will never be mainstream just because if you wanna water cool you have to be willing to keep an eye on your comp all the time

i think when most oems refer to water cooling they are talking about heatpipes. a lot of laptops have that now, and its just copper tubes that lead to a radiator with liquid in it. i guess it is really "liquid cooling" not water cooling.
