Someone at work left the door to the datacenter open, so I wondered in to take a look.
I was slightly surprised to see a couple of racks which looked to have very substantial water supplies. There were 2 big hoses going into the back of the racks, along with 400 V power, and lots of LAN cables.
These were definitely hoses, and were connected with conventional taps where they attached to pipes on the wall and standard 1/4 turn ball valves were they entered the rack.
Just wondered if anyone else had ever seen something like that before.
