I was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to drill two holes into an athlon xp or p4 water block to make it fit on to an athlon 64. The athlon 64 mount looks like this. There are two holes across from eachother across the center of the block. I think that the p4 and xp blocks have 4 holes at the corners. Basically I'm wondering if the hole to hole distance on the p4 or xp is the same as the hole to hole distance on the 64 block. If it is, I assume I could just drill two more holes between the two on the xp or p4 blocks. Any help would be nice.

You may be able to drill two holes- if your top plate extends over the outside edges of your block.
If not, don't drill through the whole block.
Most people make a top plate to sit on top of the block and drill two holes in that.

btw, that's some crazy water cooling setup you have. What's the point of having the chevette heatercore?

The water is cold enough to form condensation on my blocks when humidity is high. I didn't want to insulate them. So I made my case air tight, so no air goes in or out. I run the cold water through the heatercore to keep the case cool. The same air inside just recirculates through it. This way my case has its own little environment that is not subject to the drastic swings of humididy which used to cause condensation.
