I'm gonna be using a Athlon 64 3200 DTR in my new system. This processor is a mobile processor and from what i hear alot of the heatsinks out there don't make good enough contact with the processor and it can mess the cpu up ( http://forums.anandtech.com/me...9&threadid=1321894 ). Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows of a waterblock that will work on this processor.
thanx

any waterblock will do but you gotta moodify it a lil. If money was no object get the strom block for little river and my next choice would be the DD TDX and then the RBX

I was actually thinking of buying a whole kit. Does anyone know if the Zalman Reserator 1 Fanless Water Cooler or the Cooler Master Aquagate "ALC-U01" Water Cooling System pad are any good...if not then what kit's would ya recommend? Btw, i'm looking for the quietest setup possible as i'm building this computer to be used in a recording studio environment.

The reserator would be your best bet then, you wont get the temps you would with a normal watcooling rig but if you cool the cpu and video card you'll be damn near silent wiht that.
