Why is my water bill $135 for 3 months ($45/month)?

Doesn't that seem really high?

it is normally about $75-$80/month , unless we water the lawn or something unusual and it goes up. the highest was $100 for one month last summer

that is just water, we are on rural water and a septic tank, so we have no "sewer" bill , except for getting the tank pumped every ~five years

garbage is separate and another $42/month

Not sure how it breaks down, but water, sewer and garbage (all one bill) runs about $80/month, with unlimited (non-metered) water usage.

$0. I have a well.

But I have to pay for filters and salt for the water softener plus electricity for the well pump. So it's probably like $15 a month for those things.

~45/month water/sewage/trash.

It's the first water bill I've ever had to pay so I don't know how good that is, but everyone around here complains constantly. It does seem a bit high for the sometimes-brown hard water we get.

Mine is $35-$55 per month for water and sewer. It's much more if I water my lawn, but mostly because my city gauges people for the sewer whether they use it or not.

Our bill was $60 this month for just water. Sewer we don't use cause we have a septic tank.

It was our first bill since moving here, and it was pretty high I thought.

Worse bill was $300 and that's because a car ran over the meter...it wasn't set in the ground right and stuck out so when it was hit it broke on our side of the meter...the city refused to understand that circumstance...I just moved into a new house though and it is well water...so no water bill.

Water and Sewer

Usage 452

Amount Due 37.52

Don't know what unit of measure they are using. This is for 2 adults and 4 kids. My bill more than doubles when I water the yard in the summer.
