can't wait to see this movie. though i am bummed that it doesn't seem to appeal to folks who haven't read the story. i'm having the darndest time c onvincing the wife to go watch this movie with me.

anyone here hasn't read the story but still wants to see the movie?

I read it because of the trailer, and the graphic novel is awesome. And the scenes from the trailers look like their directly ripped from the book. It's gonna be great.

I didn't read the book, but the trailer I've seen really didn't make me want to see the movie.

I never read the comics of it and didn't even know of it till G4 started talking about it last year. But the latest trailers does have it looking rather interesting.

The book is incredible, anyone who hasn't read it should pick it up, very captivating.

Can't wait for this movie, going to see it IMAX if I can on the first day.

I have the "book" but haven't read it yet.

Maybe I'll give that a stab once I'm done with my current book and see if it gets me interested in seeing the movie.

I more am willing to see the movie just because of who directed it.

Pretty pumped. I don't watch many movies in theater (1-3 a year,) but this and Wolvernine will probably pull me in opening weekend.

Transformers and GI Joe, I'll wait to see the general consensus beforehand.

No, it's catering to the same crowd that Sin City and 300 catered to and those were both R. It'd hurt it more if they stripped the book down enough to fit into PG-13.
