Watching TV w/AIW and Satellite Dish

I have been running my TV (old antenna) into my PC thru my AIW 9000. Wasn't too bad as I got about 10 channels with the antenna. We just got a satellite thru Dish Network. All the channels just come thru channel 3 from the Dish receiver. There is no way for the AIW to split up the channels. Anyone have any experience with this?? I can watch (or record) whatever channel happens to be on at the time, but can't get to the other channels without changing them at the receiver. Is that the samething that happens with cable?? I am probably not making much sense. Just thinking outloud.

You have to change channels on the reciever. There's no way around it because the AIW only has a basic analog tuner and can't decode the digital satellite signal, and doesn't have a spot for the smart card your reciever probably has.
