Ok, so I have a 2007wfp in my dorm-room here at school and I would love to watch t.v. on it, especially since it has pip. My room has a standard Coaxial RF connection and I am wondering what exactly I need in order to watch t.v. on it.
My machine has windows xp home, and is connected via dvi to the monitor. Would simply getting any pci t.v. tuner bundle work? I read Anand's review on three tuner cards, but given that I have only a standard cable connection coming in, is there any support for higher resolutions?
At home I have direct t.v. and I am assuming that I could simply plug the cable box directly into my monitor? is this correct? because if so, then I wouldn't necessarily feel like splurging a ton on a tuner that I wouldn't need at home.
Also is there any audio management in the t.v. tuner software that would allow me to route the sound to my computer speakers?
Thanks, I understand I need to do a little more research on my own here, but any direction yall could send me would be appreciated.
