he he, funny you posted this, I JUST got off the phone with the cable company, had it turned off ever since I moved over a month ago. Never bothered to turn it back on. (I'm sure I didnt miss much) But now getting the digital HBO package with built in TIVO :D

TIVO is awesome, it'll change your life...

Being able to fast forward through commercials, priceless.....

Ya there are like 3 shows me and my g/f watch but are never together when they are on, so she records them and we watch them later, but its a hassle dealing with all the VHS tapes, not to mention the quality of her VCR kinda blows. I HATE commercials, probly why I like to watch the HBO series' shows so much.

The only ad I ever saw here in Texas was on the TV at work when it was tuned to Fox News.

TV rots your brain man. Even the Discovery Channel has gone trashTV these days. Turn it off once in a while man.
