Watching the movie Cast Away... (spoiler inside!)

and I can easily say the beginning has absolutely brought my stomach in my throat.... the Jet crash was just too real. It made me think about the feeling that must have been going through the minds of the passengers of the four flights on 9-11-01..... it sucked me in and I could feel shivers going up and down my spine. 🙁

Good movie so far, maybe a little too realistic for my wants.

Just watching the part now were he leaves the flash light on..... I kept thinking "Why in the hell does he keep using the flash light?" Well.... that just plain sucks!

I like the movie alot. Tom Hanks was a great choice. My wife now calls me "Wilson", because of my hair, when I first get up in the morning. :Q

That movie made me really think hard about life and what it means to truly survive. Had I been there, I don't think I would of even lasted a few weeks let alone his amazing few years surviving with Wilson and beating the odds. He contemplated suicide just as I probably think I would of done the same after being alone for so long. It was a scary movie in sense that you truly feel the hopelessness and loneliness he endured.

And sadly, after he came back only to find that your life left you behind with your fiance married to your dentist with a kid. Talk about depressing. Well, my imagination told me that in the end, he ended up woman with the angel wings.

In the end, he was at the "Cross Roads Of Life". Many of us go there and make our choices. BTW, I thought that woman in the p/u truck, there at the end was a babe. 🙂

I just saw it at the drive-ins over the Summer. Thought it was a good flick. A little long and drawn out but good none the less.

Great flick. The extras on the dvd are worth watching, too.

Incidentally, one of our cats is named Wilson (in part due to the film).

I din't think it was as good as I expected.

But the woman at the end was way better looking then his fiance.

watch the special features, its amazing how much of what you see isn't real🙂 damn kewl.

funny, i just finished watching the crying game, lousy dvd presentation...damn damn freaky movie.
