Watching Seinfeld marathon.. Elaine gets hotter and hotter.

I was watching from pilot... she looked very tacky (even for then-fashion) with her big hair clump on the front & terrible wardrobe.

But then she starts to gradually get hotter and hotter. I'm on Season 8 now and she is just SMOKING with mini skirt, blazer coat and wet-wavy hair.

Yeah, every time they show one of the early episodes I am reminded of how homely she looked. So much hotter in the late episodes. Hair and clothes make such a difference.

Not that I disagree with you, however, comparing a clip from an early episode and a glamor shot which had who knows how much retouching done to it, probably isn't the best comparison.

This is what I was going to say. Could be they switched costume designers, or maybe Dreyfus asked to change things up. Who knows.

I would say it has a lot to do with how "under control" her hair is. I like it even when it is curly...just not a friz-fest.
