I swear I had seen another online pay service that would allow you to stream NFL games, but not live.

I know DirecTV has a online NFL Sunday Ticket ($350!) that doesn't require DirecTV service.

Edit: Found what I was looking for... NFL.com's Game Rewind... $40 for the 2010 season, games are available for streaming at 9p Pacific time. 2009 season archives are also available.

Legally probably not but I am sure there are plenty of streaming sites you can find.

Pay $350 so you can sit in the comfort of your home to watch every game...

OR

Pay roughly $12.8K for all those games' tickets (I used $50 ticket price, it may well be higher). Plus travel fees, parking, food, etc. Plus the going rate for cloning yourself enough times so you can be at every game going on at the same time.

$350 seems like a steal for the hardcore NFL fan.

Or how about $100 in beers at your local bar?

Or maybe $10 for an antenna from Radio Shack?

Of course that only gets you local games and a few others.

I used to have NFL Red Zone as part of an a la carte sports package I could get through Comcast. Only something like $12/mo extra to get NFL Network, Red Zone, and some MLB/NBA channels I didn't care about. I didn't even have to order premium cable to get it, basic was enough (so the total cost was something like $25/mo).

Red Zone isn't the same as how DirecTV lets you watch all the game at once, but they do a good job of keeping up with all the games as they get exciting and they always show every touchdown in every game.

Yeah, I love the Red Zone channel to see all the major plays of every game live. When I want to watch my Steelers and they are not on TV here in CO, I just go to a streaming site. Alot of times the streaming sites are not the best though, it all depends.

Sometimes you get stuck with a crappy regional or national game. I rarely get to see my Vikes unless they are playing a big nationally televised game.

No. You have some Thursday night games on NFL network. Then 1 game on CBS and maybe 2 on Fox on Sunday afternoon....and that is COMPLETELY at the mercy of the TV station. If you aren't in that market then you are screwed. Then you have the Sunday night game on NBC. Then the MNF on ESPN now.

So at best, a local antenna will pick up 5-6 games.

It's absolutely ridiculous how the NFL has chopped up coverage of the games.

I'm lucky that I live near the only NFL team I care to watch and all games are available OTA in HD for free. If it's on ESPN or NFL or something, a local channel will show it at the same time.

If I lived far away I'd need to get some damn annoying package of channels but more likely I'd just stop watching the games.

It's absolutely rediculous how the NFL has chopped up coverage of the games.

srsly. in my area were already screwed as 2 of the 4 sunday games televised will be involving raiders/niners (blech), then the remaining non-sunday-night game gets west coast bias (well get a broncos or seahawks game instead of patriots or ravens). sunday night is often the only game guarenteed to be decent.

Out of curiosity I checked the Sunday Ticket pricing with my cable company and it's only $143.80 Cdn. +tax for the entire year. Is it really $350 where you are?

I want to thank those of you that mentioned the red zone channel. I looked it up and not only is Cox offering it this year, but in my region they're offering an early bird special where its only $25 for the season if you sign up by the 31st of this month. Thank you!!
