Sadly I think the draw is teenage girls who long to be the girls in the show. That said, why spend $150k on 12 hours of stress when you could get yourself a nice set of knockers and a bunch of other ******.

Haven't watched any of these shows but it sounds similar to the show "Real Housewives of Orange County". My wife apparently caught an episode when she was up late at night and described a very vapid, shallow, materialistic, and self-involved group of women.
