Watching Movies while on Plane issues...

Now that Netflix and Amazon have offline viewing I was going to download a bunch of movies for my 24 hour flight.

I only have a large iphone and a surface book. Is there a way for me to broadcast the picture from my iphone to the surface book? Obviously, offline isn't available for PC but I can download everything to my iphone. Airplay won't be an option since there won't be wifi on the plane.

Why dont you just install netflix on the surface book? also, planes have new movies.

It really isn't that hard. Put in the DVD. Run makemkv (or similar). Store the DVD safely in your closet. Put the backed up movie file on any device you want and watch it any time you want.

Used DVDs tend to be very cheap, far cheaper than Netflix. You own it for life and don't have to worry about these silly rules about which device can play what.
