Watching movies using a dual monitor setup

Alright, I want to watch a movie on my second monitor, and I want it to be fullscreen, and every time I use WMP 6.4 and fullscreen it and click the mouse, it is no longer fullscreen, and I have tried using windvd, but that crashes whenever I have both displays active.

Please help.

Interesting question, I have dual's myself and have wondered this before as well.

Probably want to post in the right forum though

You can thank copy protection schemes for that. Wow, you must be a VYDIO PYRATE because you want to output an overlay window to something other than your primary monitor.

What video card/OS are you using? There's workarounds/driver settings you can try. I know "Zoomed Overlay" seems to make regular media work, but DVDs will be another level of Stupid thanks to Macrovision.

Try Windows Player 9.

Try, or does it work for sure?

does not work in WMP 9. it WILL work in winamp 3, Sasami 2k and Power DVD.

i cam across teh same prob when i first set up my dual setup.

if you dont wannan usw WA3 get Sasami2k. its a cool lil program that will play just about any vid type and its small and free

Can't you use ultraMon to flip your displays around? Like turn Primary -> Secondary and Secondary -> Primary when you run WMA...

I can't figure out how to turn full screen off when I'm watching a video. The second monitor always displays FS and there's no way to turn it off. (primary is Latitude D800, secondary is Dell 1800FP plugged into the DVI on the dock)
