Watching interviews of celebrities can ruin the immersion of their shows?

Their TV shows and movies to be specific. The last few years I sometimes don't watch interviews of movie and TV stars because I'm afraid that later if I see them in a movie it will seem like they are just actors doing some acting. And then the movie won't seem as real or immersive as I would like it to be. And their characters won't be as believable.

The actors in interviews are real life, they are just actors talking in an interview. And I don't want that image of them being just actors to spoil the escape from reality when I watch certain movies.

That may sound like an absurd notion. But look at the practices of posters here regarding the previews and trailers for movies and TV shows. Many of you probably avoid watching trailers because they can spoil the plot of the movie or show. That doesn't make you an oddball or nuts. I'm just extending the principle a bit imo.

Actors interpret what they are supposed to do based on the script written and the directors instructions. Their surroundings could be real (on-site/studio made setting) or imaginary (green screen/CGI).
Why do they calling it "acting" anyway? Because they perform for the audience, in a stage or via the big screen.
They don't have to act during interviews while promoting the TV show/movie/documentary. ;)

Sacha Baron Cohen interviews are always great
Willy Ferrell interviews always are great!
Eric Andre interviews are epic.

Some pepople's acting during interviews do the opposite of ruining immersion.
