This dude is talking about How god is great, and he is very convincing. I'm at the point where I really want to believe in God and how there is someone out there looking out for me. But, I don't want to be christian (or any other religion) Is there a thing for that.? like a word?

I am watching out for you. :shiftyeyes;

I thought agnostics were defined as unsure of whether god existed or not, and as such didnt want to categorize themselves as atheists or theists.

Sounds like Inveterate believes in god, just not in organized religion. Not sure what you'd call that.

You're looking for Agnostic. You believe in God, but not organized religion.

No, Agnostic means any gods or deities are inherently "unknowable". More or less you don't know, and don't get overly concerned about it.

Naturally you can have a personal take on it and say there is a god, but you're not overly concerned about it...but that's more of a "deist" point of view.
