4:3 is the original aspect ratio because it was originally made for TV.

Well for me it's not about more picture or less picture, widescreen or fullscreen. I want to see it as it was originally intended. If a movie was filmed at 4:3 I don't want to see it cropped to fit widescreen TVs any more than I want to see a widescreen movie cropped to fit 4:3 TVs.
