went with the illusionist because friend says the devil wears prada sounds like a chick flick. oh well maybe i'll rent it when it's available. thanks!

The Devil Wears Prada is a chick flick; upon seeing the previews, I did feel it was a chick flick that would be bearable to watch.

But you generally don't go out with male buddies to watch chick flicks, so go see The Illusionist. Why are you only picking between those movies though? If it's a bunch of guys going to the movies you should go see Fearless or The Protector or something.

seen fearless in chinese and didn't think much of it. too much computer-generated graphics and wires. the protector's plot wasn't so good according to rotten tomatoes.

Actually The Protector's plot was a miserable mish-mash of horseshit with an Americanized soundtrack.

The action, though... it's pretty kick ass. You're decision in the end though. Good luck with whatever movie you end up watching.
