"In his book, “Unnatural Deaths in the U.S.S.R.: 1928-1954,” I.G. Dyadkin estimated that the USSR suffered 56 to 62 million "unnatural deaths" during that period, with 34 to 49 million directly linked to Stalin. In “Europe A History,” British historian Norman Davies counted 50 million killed between 1924-53, ..."
Stalin even tried to frame Hitler for killing about 20,000 Polish officers and intellectual elites. The NKVD (Later KGB) took about 15,000 Polish officers, who were prisoners of war, into the
Katyn forest and executed them with one bullet to the base of the neck, from behind, while they had their hands tied behind their backs and some had their overcoats slung over their heads to keep them from resisting or seeing what was happening to those in front of them.
Imagine that, how many truckloads of helpless men had to be taken out into those woods, and how much heartless inhumanity was required to shoot helpless human beings all day and then bury them in a mass grave.
Of course, when the Germans took control of that part of Poland and were informed by local civilians of what had taken place, they investigated and found the mass graves. They brought in observers from the US, every European nation they could, and the International Red Cross. All of whom seem to have agreed that the Germans were right, and that it was the Soviets who'd done this. Of course, Stalin got very upset and insisted it was the Germans who'd done it... and when the Soviets took that part of Poland back later on in the war, they did their own "investigation" which didn't involve any international observers or the Red Cross. In the early 90's, Gorbachev released the documents and the USSR now admits that Stalin directly ordered the killing of these tens of thousands of Polish POWs.
And this doesn't even hold a candle to what they did to their own people, in the
Holodomor engineered famine in Ukraine, and the millions upon millions executed for being "enemies of the state" throughout the USSR under Stalin. Many of these people were simply from the educated or religious classes, and seen as a threat to their socialist/communist agenda because of that. The "Black Raven" long NKVD vans would drive up to peoples' houses in the night and haul them off, never to be seen again.
Look up the book "
Drawings from the Gulag" sometime - illustrated by a member of the NKVD itself who went around a lot of the camps over the course of several years, and drew little scenes which represented what went on in those places, most of which he seems to have directly witnessed.
“Now tell me you educated bitch, how you were teaching this capitalist genetics pseudoscience in your academic department! Speak or you’ll breathe through your arsehole!”
So tell me again why he "ruled" ?
