Wheeee, got my Warcraft III Battle Chest! Showed up at the store and found the entire Home Electronics department packed up and moved for remodeling, thank Gawd the woman on the phone offered to stash one under the counter or they never would have been able to find it. 🙂

Forgot to mention, it was also on sale, so I got WCIII, the expansion, and the two big strategy guides for $42.99. 😀

Where in Alaska are you?

Doesen't it kinda suck when the sun doesen't come up until 10:15(later if you're farther north)? 😛

North Pole. The city, not the geographic location.

I don't really mind the lack of sunlight in the Winter, as I work third shift during that season. It is the cold, snow, and darkness combined that gets to me. Any of the three I would happily take by itself.

I work dayshift during the Summer though, and we have pretty much twenty-four hour daylight at that time of year anyway, so it helps to make up for it.

Wow.

Your shortest time of the year, around December ~20th, you only have 3 hours and 45 minutes of sunlight. :Q

Of course, on the opposite end of things.. your longest day, June ~21st, you get 22h 44m of sunlight. 🙂 That's cool. 😉

I want to live in Alaska at some point.

Yeah, it looks pretty cold in the winter...

Average high of 1F and average low of -19F in January. :Q

Pretty bad Jan/Feb and Nov/Dec.. lol

What kind of plant life do you have around there? lol... Is it like a winter desert? 😉

They mean direct sunlight. There is a fair portion of the Summer where we have 24 hours of daylight, because the Sun just barely dips below the horizing. So while we don't have direct sunlight, it is still light out.

Yep.. I know. 🙂

You know its fscking cold when there's sunlight virtually 24/7 and your average high during the hottest month is only 75. 😉

That's my kinda weather though.

We've actually had record-breaking temperatures here the last week or so, getting up into the seventies, despite the fact that it already snowed before that. It is not that unusual to have snow before the end of September. Bring on the global warming, I say! 😉

Yeah, we did too.. you must've felt the effects from the heat low, also.. way up there.

Except it was 95 here... record temps for the end of September.. lol

Just got done watching The Gift with Keanu Reeves, Cate Blanchett and Katie Holmes on TNT.

Pretty good...

By "Pretty Good" I'm sure you meant to say "The only redeeming factors in it were located in a row just below Ms. Holmes' shoulders"? 😀
