Watch/timepiece gurus in here?

I remember seeing some watch threads on here and quite a few people seemed knowledgeable. I'm looking at a Stowa Antea and was wondering if the "Chronometermovement ETA 2824-2" upgrade was worth it? I've read the info on the Stowa website and it seems that watches with the upgrade are more rigorously tested and that's all I can gather about it. Will the upgrade maintain time better? That's all I really care about.

In general I don't feel chronometer certificates are worth much. A good watchmaker should be able to regulate it to those specs for any decent modern movement.

Stowa is supposed to be great. I read in their forum at WUS that their standard movements are now coming with blued screws because ETA is shipping them that way.
