Shocked at the speed of the outcome, if anything else. "I made a mistake" - uh yea, jumping into the guard of a 2x world BJJ champion is a bit of a mistake.

Now we can talk about Fedor just being a high-quality HW in the mix, instead if this demigod he's been portrayed as who is so far ahead of any competition they might as well not even fight and just give Fedor the win.

Werdum _should_ fight Ubereem next, but people will be hungry for more Fedor action and I bet they rematch.

"Everybody loses; it happens ... I'm an ordinary human being like everyone else. The one who doesn't fall, doesn't stand up." - Fedor Emelianenko

To think Fedor was probably a few strikes from winning it. He made the mistake of leaning over too much and it was very easy to get trapped.

Fedor made a technical mistake. It can happen to anyone. Anyone can be beaten at any time. It's a good reminder for everyone of that fact.

Maybe now we can get Fedor in the UFC or will M1-Global still want to own half the UFC because of Fedor's awesome rep?

Doesn't he still have a fight or 2 left on his contract? I doubt we will ever see him in the UFC. His lifestyle is as modest as he is, and he can still do the Sambo champs, train, and coach, back in Stary Oskol.

No, Fedor made multiple technical mistakes...in a row. Like others have mentioned, he jumped right into that armbar and triangle willingly. Thought he could muscle out of it, I guess. Just plain dumb.

Also, to Woosta, you really, really look stupid now.

They are fast for heavyweights - Fedor moves like a middleweight while being 230 lbs. Lee's punches would just tickle Fedor.

Lee is uber slow compared to Manny Pacquiao and Mike Tyson.

I'm sorry but you're brainwashed by Hollywood cinema.

lol bruce was lightning fast and strong as fuck. He'd tear fedor a million new assholes.

How do I look stupid? I can be content with Fedor losing because everyone in MMA loses.

32-2 with the top contenders Fedor has fought still makes him undeniably the GOAT.

Werdum wasn't hurt by that shot that knocked him down as far as I could tell. He was clearly off balance and the shot made him fall. Fedor had him in a bit of trouble with his ground and pound at first but clearly didn't recognize that Werdum was barely hurt by the initial shot. I think he believed the fight was basically over and then paid a serious price for it, then didn't take the submissions seriously right after.

I agree about Werdum not being hurt. Just looked like he lost his balance is all. Didn't look like any of the shots connected flush to me. He just dove in there, and was apparently overconfident that Werdum wouldn't be able to trap him in anything.

Could be that old Brazilian trick, act hurt and fall down. It's the easiest way to get into your world if you can't take your opponent down.

Bruce Lee weighed 125 lbs. You'd be stupid to compare him to a heavyweight fighter's speed. Fedor is much faster for his weight than Bruce Lee is for his.

Jose Aldo and Manny Pacquiao are much faster than Bruce Lee. Both also hit harder. Bruce Lee would die against any of the fighters I mentioned.

At his prime, Lee weighed a little over 160lbs.
He would have demolished Aldo and Pacquiao.
Why are you downplaying Lees abilities?

That's what Fedor gets for being a pussy and avoiding the tough fights. He almost got beat by Brett Rogers and now gets submitted in the first minute by a legit guy. He's fat and soft. He's a top five guy at best and will continue to decline as long as he dodges the top fighters.

Btw Bruce Lee was the shit. He would of lost in a fight with a professional fighter but Bruce Lee is a legend and always will be.
