I have a watch from a Soviet company called Paketa. It's a wind-up and has a zero instead of a twelve. The watch has a brown leather band and a silver casing. The band says CCCP right above the 0 and has a little man underneath the hands inside a pentagon holding up CCCP. Under the man there are Cyrillic characters being: C?E?AO B CCCP. There is a number on the back that being 398612 with the same characters as under the man and then it says PAKETA under that.
This watch belonged to my uncle before he died and I know he lived in New York and was quite an Epicurean. After he died this is just about the only thing I have of him. I still have the case and the paperwork for the watch and I can't find the watch on Google and the computer I am posting from has a block on eBay so I can't see if it is on there. If any of y'all know of a site with good information please PM me. Thanks.
