Hey watch out NJ Turnpike drivers. I was headed down to my University tonight when I saw like half of a car barely sticking out in the corn fields. Or what ever field it was. It was dark because he did not have any lights turned on, but luckily I was driving slow enough like (50mph) and noticed that it was a State Trooper. My gosh that scared the crap out of me. By the way this was on the Southbound around exit 17.

I love living in Ontario.

It is against the law for the cops to "hide", and if they are on the roadway at all they must have their head/tail lights on.

That being said i've been busted a couple of times.

I swear to god, seems those cops are coming outta woodwork here in NJ after the winter ended. The whole winter I saw maybe less than 10 cop cars. In the past 2 weeks or so I've seen dozens and dozens of them everywhere. Watch out NJ drivers :Q.

Look in your shorts, but don't make any sudden moves

I smell 'em a mile away with my radar detector. They are ALL OVER the Turnpike, and even worse on the Garden State Parkway.

A few months back, I was riding in my friend's car and he got a ticket for speeding in the NJTP. The troopers were hiding in the bushes. Good thing it taught him a lesson cause he slowed down afterwards:D

Wanna know whats scarier? 3 cops cars simultanously doing a U turn on the interstate over a grassy ditch at high speed with one speeding far ahead, one moving right in front of you and the 3rd right behind you. GEEZ I was scared out of my mind.

NJ state troopers hide anywhere their car will fit, and someplaces they dont quite. Its pretty scary, and I find myself remembering spots where I think a cop car could fit and I couldn't see it from the opposite direction.

I'm thinking an older SNL sketch w/ Adam Sandler, don't know which sketch though. My favorite is the game show that takes place in "Boston" where the contestants have to give directions from one place to another. There's the old geezer that answers one of them: "Ahh, Can't get the'ya from h'ya" (Can't get there from here). I guess you gotta see it. :D

That's nothing new. The troopers do it on the NY Thruway too. Supposedly they also have radar guns that operate in non-standard frequencies so radar detectors won't pick them up.
Go figure. :disgust:
