So tomorrow, I'm finding my way back to the University of Maryland after a year of going to CC (couldn't get a loan without a co-signer, and no co-signer was available, so it was back home for me).

Moving into my apartment tomorrow, got fishing with my Navy buddy planned for Friday morning, and then going to the Yanks/Orioles game Saturday. Should be a fun welcome back to ol' UMD and the state of Maryland.

Unfortunately, classes start up Monday 🙁
 
it is HOT in UMD. hot humid weather + formal business attire = not cool. (pun intended)
 
my dad was in UMC. i lived not far from there (Rockville) for 6 years before i returned to israel. i love the festivals they have every year at april! god i remember the football stadium. it's huge! anyway, welcome back to Maryland!
 
my dad and my boss are UMD grads... man i miss that place... spent the first half of my life in MD. I'm jealous.. and at the start of crab season too 😉
 
Baltimore sucks, and the politicians are ridiculous. I moved to PA last year--cheaper housing, cost of living, etc. I still work in Baltimore, though.
 
Just moved into my apartment. In the South Campus Commons, and the single is pretty damn nice. Gotta share a bathroom with one other person, which is so bad considering Freshman year it was an entire floor. Oh the horror!

Only two of the other three rooms are going to be occupied, so it should be good.
