My sister was complaining about the glossy photo I'd given her printed on HP Glossy Premiun Plus photo paper. Apparently her pets love the taste of the glossy finish. From what I've read, the finish on the paper is gelatin. The cats didn't seem to go for the printed area of the paper, but they did lick off the white edges.
Anyone else experience this? I'm not sure if there's anything toxic about it, but I guess it's a good idea to protect the photos from those hungry pets, and based on my experience, if the pets like it, the kids are sure to eat it.
