Rocket science is actually pretty easy. Rocket mechanics and orbital mechanics were the easiest parts of aerospace engineering.

The reason rocket launches are hard is because of the mechanical engineering issues. Millions of parts and they all have to work perfectly (Most of them anyway), not to mention vibrations.

Today it was all about the weather.....but I suspect money had something to do with it. Somebody wanted something and did not get it or they wanted more. Either way, no go. Blame it on the weather! :whiste:

There was also a fuel valve problem. I think they might need that to function properly before launch....

I went to watch the launch of the Shuttle about 10 times and only once, the last time, did it launch as scheduled. There was one that was scrubbed AFTER main engine start but before SRB -- around about T-5 seconds.
