lol this is worse than our production releases... is this more complicated or something???
Yes. It's rocket science.
Today it was all about the weather.....but I suspect money had something to do with it. Somebody wanted something and did not get it or they wanted more. Either way, no go. Blame it on the weather! :whiste:

Rocket science is actually pretty easy. Rocket mechanics and orbital mechanics were the easiest parts of aerospace engineering.
The reason rocket launches are hard is because of the mechanical engineering issues. Millions of parts and they all have to work perfectly (Most of them anyway), not to mention vibrations.
Too many managers not wanting any blame for a 3rd rocket explosion this year (I realize they were not all NASA)
Hard to blame them.
Congressman investigating explosion:
"Before the incident did you have warning about a problem?"
NASA rep:
"Yes"
Congressman:
"Yet you launched anyway?"
NASA:
"Yes"
Congressman:
"This represents years of effort and billions of dollars and you decided to launch anyway?"
NASA:
"Yes"
Congressman:
"WHY???"
NASA:
"Well we looked at each other in the control room and reached a 'FI'" consensus"
Congressman:
"What in heaven's name is that?"
NASA:
"Fuck it."
